Quiet place in the center...

Liked: Very polite and helpful staff. Convenient location, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.One day, they were unable to clean our room (mostly our fault, as we took a long time to get ready in the morning), but they compensated us with a free breakfast the next morning.
Disliked: One of the rooms had Wi-Fi issues, but we had good 5G so we didn't push for a solution.

Very good

Liked: The location, cleanliness.
Disliked: There was no kettle in the room, I got sick and simply needed warm water. Also the noise from the other rooms is very noticeable.

Overpriced for the standard provided...

Disliked: Was too overpriced for the standard provided .Rooms were poor, En-suite was poor, Room was not serviced . Garden overgrown .

Disliked: Group of guest next door stayed up all night talking for 2 nights, there was not tea & coffee making facilities in room, small flimsy pillows.

Enjoyable

Liked: The room aesthetic was typical French Basque.It was minimalist and pretty. Rooms and washrooms were pretty clean.
Disliked: One of the twin bed's pillow had hair previously on them.

Perfect

Liked: This a gorgeous, amazing,glorious vintage French house.
Disliked: I loved everything about the St Charles

We would recommend staying here,...

Liked: It was very clean and quiet. Staff very friendly but not intrusive.
Disliked: Room quite small.
