The Spotlight on SAHARA Las Vegas

Bold, Modern Vibes Steps from the Las Vegas Strip

SAHARA Las Vegas blends sleek style with legendary Vegas energy, making it a prime spot for music fans heading to concerts or festivals. Located on South Las Vegas Boulevard, this sprawling resort features expansive pools, a high-end spa, and a variety of gourmet restaurants. With a vibrant casino, on-site shops, and views of the city from the terrace, SAHARA balances luxury with entertainment.

Why Concert-goers love it

Just minutes from several major concert venues and a short drive to the Las Vegas Convention Center, SAHARA Las Vegas is a smart choice for music fans who want to stay close to the action. Free parking and easy access to rideshares and transit make late-night returns a breeze. While you're in the heart of the Strip, the rooms stay relatively quiet—perfect for post-show recovery. The 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out offer decent flexibility for travelers arriving or leaving at odd hours.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a full Vegas experience with a concert highlight
  • Solo travelers in town for bucket-list shows
  • Couples making a romantic music-filled weekend
  • Fans seeking a quieter recovery after a long night out
  • Budget-conscious travelers wanting upscale amenities without the price tag of nearby mega-resorts

Food and Drink Options

When the show ends, the food doesn’t stop. SAHARA features several gourmet restaurants including the Bazaar, which serves Spanish-inspired dishes with a modern twist. While there’s no 24/7 room service, late-night dining is available at select venues within the resort. For those sleeping in after a big night, you’ll find breakfast options that cater to late risers. Walkable eateries along the Strip also provide plenty of variety.

Nightlife Options

It’s Vegas—so you won’t be short on nightlife. SAHARA’s on-site bars and lounges offer both high-energy and chill atmospheres, and you're a quick ride from some of the Strip’s most iconic nightclubs. While there’s no dedicated live music venue on-site, the hotel’s location makes it easy to hop between events, bars, and late-night hangouts.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s modern design and clean, comfortable rooms. Many mention the value for money compared to other Strip resorts, and the convenience of free parking is a major perk. The pools, especially in warmer months, are a fan favorite for pre-concert lounging.

Areas for Improvement

While stylish, the hotel can feel a bit spread out—expect some walking between amenities. Some guests note that the vibe can be a little “quiet” compared to larger Strip hotels, which might be a plus or minus depending on your style.

The Bottom Line

SAHARA Las Vegas is a sleek, affordable option for concert-goers who want comfort, great food, and easy access to music venues—all without straying far from the Strip.

Very good

Liked: I liked the hotel itself, the good service and the atmosphere on the ground floor and in the bars.
Disliked: We booked a room a year ago, but upon arrival we only got a smoky room because there were no other rooms. However, we had gone on an excursion and when we returned to the hotel, we already got a good room. There is no teapot in the room, so you can't drink tea. It's a long walk from the center.

They spoiled my wedding night

Liked: Lobby, everything flashy thats the good part
Disliked: They are heartless souls and low standard place to stay now. I booked for the wedding night and there was no decoration or any wish. I am fine with that but room they gave had broken shower slider, next to bed was wash basin and toilet had no hanger, it felt like temporary cheapest stay we got and worst part was smelly towells, broken phone so I had to call google number to get sahara room service number ( all lines broken across floor) , no helpful staff and overall worst decision I made to stay there on wedding night. What a terrible soulless people.

Comfortable and quiet rooms

Liked: Access to monorailSports bar food (chickies)
Disliked: long wait to check in, even though nobody was in front of us in line, they were being helped when we arrived. The party in front of us, the clerk fawned all over them, taking forever to help them, and their bill was $89. We got a polite smile for a $600 visit. Ouch.

Superb

Liked: I liked the room, it was clean and very comfortable and the wifi was fine. I used my computer in the room as well as my 2 phones. It had some gadgetry that took awhile to figure out, but once I did figure it out then I was fine. I lived in Vegas before for about 7 years so I know the area fairly well and I was able to use google map on the phones to drive around to the places I needed to go.
Disliked: Most all of your employees were very nice and very helpful too. But I was extremely frustrated with the lady who checked me in once I arrived a bit after 4PM on Sunday 22 June. There was a line of perhaps 60 or 80 people in front of me and it took me over 45 minutes to get up to the front and get checked in. She was sarcastic and condescending as well as downright chippy after I expressed my dissatisfaction with 45 minutes to wait to get checked in. It wasn't pleasant. On Monday 23 June, I went over to the tacos place to eat and have some tacos and perhaps margaritas too. I walked in to sit down at the bar and a lady there said to me in a rather nasty tone, "Sir, we dont open until 4PM." I hustled on out of there and I was out about 50 meters away then I checked my phone and it was 359PM, this Monday 23 June. I am not crazy about rude people and I try to avoid them. Needless to say that I did not go back for tacos and margaritas.

I received some discounts but...

Liked: Friendly staff and being close to shops.
Disliked: 1- A construction was going on at upper floors in all day which prevented us taking a rest at the day time after being out for very late periods of the night.2- The TV cable was disconnected despite my request and being promised that it will be fixed, no one showed up, so we had no TV service.3- The reservation was for 3 people but, the bathroom services was for two. I asked for it but, never received any.
