I would stay there again,...

Liked: The breakfast wasn't very good but the dining room was nice. The sausage and "smashed" potatoes were very spicy and not particularly digestable. I loved the coffee; it was exceptional, The waitstaff were attentive and gracious.
Disliked: The lack of signs at this place is terrible. We arrived at midnight after a concert at The Gorge and had a very difficult time finding the lodge. We drove into dead-ins, had to renegotiate, back track, down service roads and around and around. The GPS on the phone was not very specific saying to head northeast, for example, when we did not know in the dark where northeast was. Even the next morning when we left in bright daylight we had a difficult time finding our way out. We finally had to use the GPS again just to get to the highway.

Disliked: Every time we went to the front desk and restaurant we had to wait for someone to show up to help us. The bartender in the whiskey bar had limited customer service skills and sanitation methods were a concern. The bartender’s comments about the legal issues between Cave B and Sagecliffe should have been more professional.Food selection in the restaurant and bar was minimal and we opted not to eat at either. We went into the spa, looked around, no one was there, and left. The Cliff House afforded us peace and quiet with a beautiful view.

In the vineyards with stunning...

Liked: The location is gorgeous. We loved the view from our suite amongst the vineyards. It's a unique experience to stay within a working wine estate. We're glad we did the short hike down to the river edge - you'll need shoes with some grip.
Disliked: Room curtains could be improved. Our shower wasn't working - we used the bath instead. Surprised to not have bathrobes or slippers, bring your own I guess!
