It was horrible.

Liked: I was originally trying to book my stay for wednesday April 9th to Friday April 12th on booking.com but I couldnt get it to work. So I went to Sage n Sand and tried to explain to him that I was trying to book on booking but couldn't get it to work. He said he would be able to do it on his end and he continued to make the reservation. I was originally gonna me charged. $72 per night on booking but he charged me $85 per night for doing it there, which id i wouldve know that i wouldnt habe rented there.. I didn't say anything more about the situation but let him know i had 1 pet and 1 service animal i paid and went to my room for the night. On the Friday I went to the office to pay for another night and the manager asked me if I had two dogs which I replied yes I told you that when I checked in. He then proceeded to tell me that he was gonna charge me a $25 dolar pet fee for everynight that I was there I said hold on. First of all I told you when I checked in and you never said anything but now you're trying to charge me extra money on top of already being over charged for the price of the room as it is. He waved the pet fee, I paid and went back to my room. The next day I needed another night so I booked it on booking to make it cheaper on me. They took the money out of my account and sent me a receipt so I went to the office to make sure everything was OK and set with my reservation and that I could just stay in the same room and I was met with complete and total attitude from the manager. He informed me that he was not going to rent me the room and that he had already canceled my reservation for me and that I need to wait 24 to 48 hours for my money to go back to my account. In that moment I was shocked and had NO idea what I was gonna do or where I was gonna stay. I don't have family or friends up here and am by myself.
Disliked: I went to the bank first thing Monday morning to check and the money has still not been put back into my account. I called Sage n Sand and was met with more attitude from the same guy and was told to contact booking.com. they took over 85 dollars out of my account and left me sleeping outside because of their incompetence. I'm not happy with my stay or my experience AT ALL. I want my money .and tbh they should be investigated. This is NOT ok.

Week long stay

Liked: It’s older, but super well kept. The best part of the motel was the local feel and how homely it felt. You can see the staff, which is a family owned and operated business, always busy working on the property and lend a smile and friendly greeting. I stayed for a week and the surroundings were peaceful but accessible to local stores like Safeway. It was a great trip and it was a nice place to stay.

Comfortable and easy, economical too!

Liked: The rooms were completely renovated, new everything. The beds were very comfortable, it was clean and the shower was great. The location is also very quiet and the staff was eager to do whatever we needed. Morning chai tea was a real treat.

An oasis in the desert...

Liked: I travel often for work and when I come to Moses Lake I like to stay here. The rooms are recently remodeled. And they are great. Always clean. The decor has a rustic modern look to it. The rooms tend to have modern amenities such has usb charging outlets on on the power outlets near the bed so you can use your devices while they’re charging. The TVs are smart TVs so you can use streaming services as well as watch the local and cable channels. The beds are super comfy. I always sleep like the dead here and wake up refreshed. The staff, David, the owner and his family are absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Always on the property and check with you when you bump into him to make sure everything about your stay is good. It’s located near everything. Grocery. Gas. Restaurants. Every is just a hop and a skip away.10/10 I highly recommend the sage n sand
