Sage Hotel James Street

Superb

Neat and well located, but...

Liked: Sage is really well located and the rooms are clean and well appointed. They are making a point to warn people about the construction across the road and are trying to ensure you're not too affected by the noise in the morning. That wasn't what bothered me.
Disliked: I know it's not the hotel's fault when the guests next door come in at 3.20am, but I could hear them moving about and talking through the walls. It was impossible to sleep with that and the noise of the doors opening and closing as they went in and out over the next 1.5 hours. Given that this was on the ground floor, I would have hoped that the 24 hour reception staff could have asked those people to be aware of the noise. In the end I had to go out and ask them to stop the noise.
