Liked: Breakfast was good. Really liked the organic mini muffins. Location was easy on off freeway. Convenient location to good restaurants. If I was staying longer would have used the pool.
Disliked: No working elevator.

Liked: Large bottom floor room with a door to the parking lot and another to the pool. Comfy king bed. Lots of plants and blooming flowers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast. (no protein though)Great location. ( we visited the Huntington Library)

A Pleasant and Reasonably-Priced Mid-Century...

Liked: Very nice, and accommodating, staff, comfortable room, good continental breakfast, very good location directly across Colorado Blvd. from Pasadena City College library.
Disliked: Shower handle had a valve problem which limited the hot water. We were able to move to the adjoining room, they repaired the valve immediately, and were able to rent the room out again that night. Locks on the access doors to room (there was a front door and a back door to parking lot) were not as secure as I would expect. The wooden door frames appeared to have been damaged over the years and I think would be more secure if they were replaced. Overall, the property felt dated. We understood it was built mid-century, so we expected it to feel dated, but I think some of the furnishings should be replaced with newer, albeit mid-century modern, furnishings.
