We loved the saga the...

Liked: It was clean and really welcoming. The pool was nice to have on site because it was very hot.
Disliked: It would have been nice if it was a closer walk to the main part of Pasadena - it was potentially walkable if it wasn’t so hot!

Quaint and Cozy

Liked: Restful stay. Interesting to find out Apple Tv's Palm Royal was filmed there.

Good location and plenty of...

Liked: The motel is like going back to the sixties. The furniture seemed very dated. No coffee machine. The breakfast was very good if you enjoy a continental feast. Parking was plentiful and the room was clean.
Disliked: A little pricey for the quality of the room.

Love the mid-century design of...

Liked: Pool and trees were great. Very relaxing to hang out there.
Disliked: Elevator for luggage on the third floor would have been helpful

Good value and good room...

Liked: The grounds are beautiful, with trimmed palm trees, a wonderful pool and furniture around. The cost was great and it was on Route 66 which were taking a trip on. The staff was wonderful! I needed to freeze some paks for our cooler for the next day and the housekeeper took care of it pronto! She also got our TV to work for us. It was close to a lot of restaurants. They keep a great list at the front desk, with directions, etc.
Disliked: The elevator wasn't working and we were on the second floor. The rooms could use a little redecorating and snazzing up. I do realize they are trying to have it feel like the sixties etc. We didn't need one, but there was no microwave.
