Clean and Comfortable

Liked: I enjoyed a peaceful one night stay at Saffron House whilst passing through on the coast path. The building is nicely set above the road through Combe Martin. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. I appreciated the breakfast, which set me up for my next day of walking.
Disliked: Everything was most satisfactory.

Liked: The hosts couldn't be more helpful. We we're camping previously and helped get our tent dry.
Disliked: Nothing, it was wonderful.

Great value for money, lovely...

Liked: Friendly welcome and David is tentative to his guests. Parking is a bonus. Lovely breakfast and the whole place was very clean.
Disliked: The bed was a little hard for my liking and it would have been helpful to have shelf of somewhere in the shower to put toiletries specially when you are quite tall.

Liked: That the people running it were there for you whenever. We arrived quite late but they accommodated this and greeted us in the same manner they would with anyone. The dedicated breakfast table was a nice touch. It meant we knew where to sit and didn’t have to wait to be seated. The couple were lovely, breakfast was great and selection was more than enough.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: Dave is the best! He’s very kind and made sure we were all set and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The hotel has a small pool (not for swimming) which must be great when the weather is warm. Excellent choice of breakfast, also for vegetarians. Walking distance to the sea.
