Horrendo! Awful

Liked: I honestly don’t understand how this hostel has such a positive rating. I thought it was awful! THE RECEPTION IS ALWAYS EMPTY! At both my check-in and check-out, I had to literally wait and hope the receptionists would bother to show up. Special mention to the girl in the afternoon shift long hair and with big glasses MARTINA —she just went off to eat and was flirting with some guy in the kitchen while people were piling up at the reception. When asked, she claimed she had been away for “only 15 minutes in her break” but my Uber app showed that it had already been 21 minutes since I arrived and the reception was already empty when I walked in. Totally disrespectful. The Venezuelan guy at night is the only polite person at the reception.the “separation” of female and male dorms is completely useless because the bathrooms are scattered all over the floor, which means you have to walk around to take a shower, sharing the space with guests of the opposite sex.- it’s far!!! Really far from the tourist attractions. You’re much better off staying in Sol or Chueca…
Disliked: De verdad no entiendo cómo este hostal tiene una calificación tan positiva. ¡Me pareció horrible! ¡LA RECEPCIÓN ESTÁ SIEMPRE VACÍA! Tanto en mi check-in como en mi check-out tuve que literalmente esperar y rezar para que los recepcionistas se dignaran a aparecer. Mención especial a la chica del turno de la tarde: se fue a comer y estaba coqueteando con un chico en la cocina mientras la gente se acumulaba en recepción. Cuando se le preguntó, dijo que “había salido solo 15 minutos”, pero mi aplicación de Uber mostraba que ya habían pasado 21 minutos desde que llegué y la recepción ya estaba vacía cuando entré. Una falta total de respeto. El chico venezolano de la noche es el único educado en recepción. Los baños están repartidos por todo el piso, lo que significa que tienes que caminar para ducharte compartiendo el espacio con huéspedes del sexo opuesto.

Liked: The location of the hostel is very convenient as you can go around on foot. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff was kind and helpful.

Liked: I arrived earlier, but I was able to wait in the lobby in comfortable conditions to receive the room. Several grocery stores and restaurants can be found nearby. Check-out until 11 am.
Disliked: There is a small gathering area with a drinking fountain in front of the upstairs dormitory. This is fine as long as they don't gather there for the evening party, shouting wildly. The bathroom is quite cramped, the water in the shower didn't drain. The hotel guests here don't even have any regard for each other. It's more of a party hotel. Pilgrims, if you want to relax, go somewhere else.

Liked: The location, it was near the metro station, and Retiro Park
Disliked: The AC did not work. We went in the summer, and then the elevator broke down, and we needed to use stairs. I found some women hair in my bed.

Liked: Location was all right, little lamps attached to each bed were find
Disliked: Not big fan of bed bugs and a hostel that treats you like open wallet and you gotta pay for anything extra like lockers, luggage storage or a towel from decathlon. The pictures don't match with real situation. No little table to sit. No shower and shampoo gel in the bedroom. No terrace entry despite of having half of the pictures with terrace view, no kitchen utensils. Just one dark place to sit and eat if they allow you.
