I would defo stay here again. Very kind helpful staff. Good food; clean, large room with windows.

Liked: I was booked into a double but had to change and bring my granddaughter so was upgraded to a double and a twin. It wasn’t cheap but was very clean. Staff were fab and helpful. Breakfast lady was lovely and breakfast was brilliant. Very happy with service and location right in centre of Piccadilly near trams trains and only £20 to airport.
Disliked: Noise on second floor but not a worry really.

OK for somewhere to get your head down after a gig, but wouldn't recommend for a holiday. VERY HOT - would definitely recommend paying that bit extra for a window as the air con doesn't work and hasn't for years. And the duvet was strangely too small for the bed - it was like two of us sleeping under a hankie. Couldn't find any stairs down - definitely ask at reception about that as when the fire alarm goes off and you're on the 5th floor it's a bit worrying. :uckily for us no fire!

Disliked: Didn't appreciate being woken up early hours by the fire alarms - everytime you fell asleep they would go off again.

Not recommended at all very...

Disliked: The bed was making noises whenever we moved.The air conditioning fan was also making noise when we turned it on.The room was on the street side, and the windows wouldn’t close properly.There was construction work going on outside, and they started at 7 AM — the noise made it impossible for us to sleep.

I don't think I would...

Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: WiFi was terrible; constantly dropping out, slow and lagged. The room was very dark and had one small window which wasn't enough considering the size of the room. The bathroom floor was dirty. The decor was old and the hotel could do with renovating.

Perfect for solo travel

Liked: The location was perfect for a solo traveller. Staff were friendly and accommodating.The cartoon fair that was downstairs and the travelling vinyl market was open. I was able to pop out and get food, anytime I felt like it.
Disliked: The alley way on the opposite side of the road .

Liked: The location.
Disliked: The room was dirty, the shower was leaking and rather tired and old. The entire room was rather shabby. The bath was dirty, and a huge mark of some sort on the sink area that just looked awful and off-putting. The entire room could do with a refurbishment and updating. Photos
