I would defo stay here again. Very kind helpful staff. Good food; clean, large room with windows.

Liked: I was booked into a double but had to change and bring my granddaughter so was upgraded to a double and a twin. It wasn’t cheap but was very clean. Staff were fab and helpful. Breakfast lady was lovely and breakfast was brilliant. Very happy with service and location right in centre of Piccadilly near trams trains and only £20 to airport.
Disliked: Noise on second floor but not a worry really.

OK for somewhere to get your head down after a gig, but wouldn't recommend for a holiday. VERY HOT - would definitely recommend paying that bit extra for a window as the air con doesn't work and hasn't for years. And the duvet was strangely too small for the bed - it was like two of us sleeping under a hankie. Couldn't find any stairs down - definitely ask at reception about that as when the fire alarm goes off and you're on the 5th floor it's a bit worrying. :uckily for us no fire!

Disliked: Didn't appreciate being woken up early hours by the fire alarms - everytime you fell asleep they would go off again.

Liked: Liked the location....it's very near to the train station ( Piccadilly)....and at the city center ...Hotel is goodRoom was very goodStaff
Disliked: Dinit like is ...they don't provide complimentary water bottles which most of the hotels provide it.And it's summer in August in Manchester...they don't have air conditioners...only they have fan based vents ...so look into this

Very average but for £38...

Liked: Staff were good. Location good
Disliked: No battery’s in remote. Room was roasting even with 2 fans on was dangerously warm

All you need for a...

Liked: Staff lovely clean close to everything good value for money
Disliked: Building work going on outside the hotel and started working at 8am so need earplugs but that's not the hotels problem

Never Again

Liked: The location
Disliked: The windows were broke the noise was shocking all night and construction noises all day, the smell of damp was awful and their was water dripping from the lights in main hall. We had to change rooms twice in 3 days because of TV not working in first room and power outage in second room and each bed was so uncomfortable and pillows so hard

Disliked: Beds uncomfortable hotel very dated and not clean also the bar was shut hotel reception slow on check in and not very helpfull in the slightest
