I would defo stay here again. Very kind helpful staff. Good food; clean, large room with windows.

Liked: I was booked into a double but had to change and bring my granddaughter so was upgraded to a double and a twin. It wasn’t cheap but was very clean. Staff were fab and helpful. Breakfast lady was lovely and breakfast was brilliant. Very happy with service and location right in centre of Piccadilly near trams trains and only £20 to airport.
Disliked: Noise on second floor but not a worry really.

OK for somewhere to get your head down after a gig, but wouldn't recommend for a holiday. VERY HOT - would definitely recommend paying that bit extra for a window as the air con doesn't work and hasn't for years. And the duvet was strangely too small for the bed - it was like two of us sleeping under a hankie. Couldn't find any stairs down - definitely ask at reception about that as when the fire alarm goes off and you're on the 5th floor it's a bit worrying. :uckily for us no fire!

Disliked: Didn't appreciate being woken up early hours by the fire alarms - everytime you fell asleep they would go off again.

Disappointing

Liked: Convenient location to the city centre and little bar by the reception.
Disliked: The rooms were unbearably hot to the point where it was impossible to sleep. The fan in the room doesn't do anything apart from push the hot air around and so we would be sweating from the moment we entered the room until we left. Couldn't sleep properly because of this and would be waking up every 10 minutes or so.Also, when checking in at 3pm (which is the advertised check in time) we were waiting until 3:45pm before getting served and then told the rooms were not even ready for us to check in to and to come back in an hour (so nearly 2 hours after check in time). This was not possible for us as we were already on a schedule to go to an event which we could not bring our bags with us for and would not be back until late.

Disliked: despite there being two fans in our room the room was overly hot. stifling. we were getting ready for a night out and dripped with sweat, yest qwhen we walked out of the room into the corridor it was much cooler

Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful it made our stay awesome. Also, the location is superb, really close to Arndale Mall, and Afflecks, lots of shops and restaurants are close.
