Liked: The view was amazing of lake Michigan and the rooms were very clean.
Disliked: The lobby isn't well signposted inside or outside the building. Because the first floor also shares its location with festival hall it was difficult to locate. I was dropped off in what feels like an underground parking garage and there are no external signs for the hotel or lobby. I was dropped off at the north end of this area (which was the opposite end to the lobby) with about 5-10 glass doors leading in different directions across the area without any clear signage. I decided to go straight through a couple of glass doors to the walking side of the pier to find the lobby on that side. Again there were no signs and I walked the length of the three buildings (each with Sable on top) but no sign post to the lobby (only that the ground floor was Festival Hall). A passer by then kindly gave me the directions and realised it was back where I started so had to lug my bags back the length of the buildings.

Disliked: Not a full service hotel and not explained anywhere. That is what “a Curio Hotel” means. The Hilton brand is a bit misleading.We had to remind staff for daily cleaning despite being asked at check in and confirming our request Dry cleaning had to be dropped at front desk. It got lost and was found in 24hours (what if it was our last day). Phones are not audible so hard to speak to front desk from room. Included breakfast is $18 per person at the restaurant. Very very difficult to stay within this limit so you are really only getting a discount voucher. If you want to make the best of it and take a coffee on the go that is not allowed.

Disliked: Booking.com gave me a price for breakfast included. But hotel gave vouchers which did not cover the cost of even modest breakfast choices. This was not an accurate description of what was included - and was a pretty disappointing aspect as far as my booking through Booking.com.Breakfast buffet would have been better as choice was quite limited on the menu.Hotel not easy to access with public transport
