Exceptional

Liked: Although the hotel was old it was well maintained, Clean and comfortableThe Staff were very helpful, pleasant and efficient.
Disliked: No opening windows in our first room. Although after a problem with the toilet we were moved to a room with a balcony so that was good.

Great staff. Awesome views and...

Liked: The views and proximity to Sydney Harbour were amazing!! The staff were very friendly, accomodating and willing to help. We arrived from a cruise earlier that morning and were hoping to store our bags before our check in time. The desk staff were very helpful and willing to help with this. We were also able to check in earlier than our check in time which we were very grateful and appreciative of. Thank you.
Disliked: There was not enough cutlery- we only found a teaspoon. We bought disposable cutlery so we could have breakfast in the room.

Good

Liked: Location is fantastic, close to Circular Quay so ideal for us as we were returning from a cruise.
Disliked: Bed was not made properly after our first night - the top sheet was somewhere in the bed - had to remake it ourselves. Also, no facewashers left, had to go to concierge and ask for some.

Amazing Location

Liked: Loved the location. Close to the Rocks / restaurant / harbor / cruise terminal. Rooftop views were amazing. Didn't use pool or spa since it was cold. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Room was a little tired. Bathroom could use some reno. I know its an older hotel which has some charms to it but some sprucing up would do some good!!

Perfect location especially when visiting...

Liked: Great location. Kids loved the roof top pool and spa. Great views for all. Variety of options for breakfast too. Staff very friendly. Able to leave luggage whilst we were out for the day on check out. A variety of stations on the tv including Netflix and free wifi
Disliked: Bathroom tiles/ grout needs cleaned up. Dusting on bedside tables. No local tv channels
