Was OK but needs to be renovated to keep up with what other hotels have to offer.

Liked: Friendly service and room was very clean.
Disliked: The TV remote was working properly and the remotes were changed on a couple of occasions and the bed springs weren't that good. You rolled in the middle and woke up with a sore back.

Over priced given how old...

Liked: The location is quite central to the Esplanade, Luna Park, The Palais.
Disliked: The room was very tired and worn out, thinning carpet, smashed toilet, chipped sink and cracked bath. Dusty, grimey. Huge splattering of tooth paste all over the wall at head height when lying down. Revolting given it's likely been in someone's mouth.

Disliked: All the timber work on the cupboards & bedhead were filthy, there was hands & fingerprints & unmentionable stuff on the bedhead which stood out when the sun hit the bedhead it was really gross, would make you vomit

Liked: Easy to get to, not too much traffic. Love the people and feel of St Kilda. Property, rooms, comfort and staff were excellent! Comfortable, clean rooms. Walking distance to the Palais theatre.
Disliked: It was a shame to see sooo many shops closed down in Fitsroy Street??
