Liked: Located close to the centre of Port Macquarie . The view
Disliked: Bare wires exposed from electrical cord on bedside table. Broken crockery. Breakfast not included as mentioned when initially booked. Renovations being done daily and not informed prior to paying . Price didn’t reflect the poor standards in comparison to what I’ve known Rydges to provide in my history of staying with Rydges on many different occasions in several other locations. Don’t go to Hogs Breath restaurant while in port Macquarie either. Over priced and meal was overcooked and dry. Staff are rude!

Liked: Location was excellent.
Disliked: Room was fine, a little older than expected. The view from the balcony was lovely but restricted by the rail when sitting down. Towel was ripped. Breakfast was not a Buffett and had to order more food making it expensive.

Liked: Hotel currently going through refurbishment, we were lucky and stayed in a refurbished room which was refreshing as we stayed here on a number of occasions and rooms were getting tired and in need for refurbishment.

Disliked: Construction noises started at 7 am on Saturday and didn't end until we checked out. Interiors were outdated and not worth the price.
