Stunning grounds and exterior shame...

Liked: the grounds , the peacocks , the setting was absolutely stunning.
Disliked: the hotel was tired , needed a good clean , there were coffee stains on the wall by the bin and by the bed - all the walls were marked and all the skirting boards were marked and dirty. The bathroom was grubby no pressure in the shower.The breakfast does not resemble the picture on the website - buffet which for the price we paid we were not expecting. Did not have any other food there so cannot comment - but we were not prepared to pay their prices after the experience of the breakfast.

Excellent setting and satisfactory room

Liked: Setting and deluxe room. Decent self-service breakfast. Very fine setting with outdoor areas on walls.
Disliked: Shower had no non-slip mat.

Liked: Room 222 was fabulous, loads of space and great facilities. The complimentary bottle of bubbly on arrival was very thoughtful. A*****
Disliked: The some of the hot food at the breakfast buffet wasn't very hot, but was still delicious.

Lovely location and beautiful to...

Liked: The breakfast had a wide variety of choice which was good. The room was laid out well with everything you needed.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little grubby, it looks like it needed a full remodel. The bed wasn't too comfortable for me, but that's because I like a firm mattress.

Excellent would recommend to family...

Liked: The hotel was exceptional, total dog friendly, stayed 3 nights the staff were excellent the room was very comfortable the grounds and history were excellent the walks around the grounds were very varied .
Disliked: Couldn't find any faults
