Liked: Room: Sizable balcony with forest view.Bathroom: Large rain shower with aromatic amenities.Bedroom: Comfortable with nice designFacility: S'mores 6 - 8pm are a fun way to meet other guests.Spa: Skillful staff and a wide range of services and amenities. Nice $65 day package with massage included.Restaurants: indoor/outdoor seating with a large wine list and tasty food menu. Pool: Gorgeous, warm enough, towels right there.General store: Lots of coffee options and generous hours.Elevators within buildings.Location: only one mile from the park entrance.
Disliked: A lot of steps for my husband given the altitude.Pool is maybe too large for lap swimming given the altitude.

Liked: Lots of facilities, beautiful setting, close to Yosemite
Disliked: There was some chaos when we arrived, partly due to an unexpected snowfall plus a power outage. However the mostly young and maybe inexperienced didn’t seem well equipped to handle unexpected problems and frankly appeared clueless at times. It would have been helpful also if the chalk boards the following morning had included the information that the nearby park entrance was closed - something we had to find out for ourselves. Worst thing however was the pullout bed in our room which was unbelievably uncomfortable.

Liked: Absolutely the most stunning, comfortable, well appointed, and friendly staff in the area. The grounds, spa, room, tavern, resturant were above standard and if you plan to visit the Yosemite Valley or Hetch Hetchy areas I would highly recommend staying here. Couples, groups, and/or families.
