We had a great stay...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The owner met us as we pulled in and was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. The house is in a great location with a beautiful view of the lake — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We had the upstairs of the main house to ourselves, with access to a shared kitchen. Everything we needed for bathing and sleeping was provided, and the place was spotless. It was also very quiet — we never heard anyone else during our stay. Highly recommend!
Disliked: Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were a few things to note for future guests. The upstairs was a bit too warm at night, even with the fan provided. We appreciated being given an oscillating fan, and I’m sure the temperature is usually more comfortable. Our room door could not be locked from the inside — only secured with a small hook — which wasn’t a major issue since we felt safe, but we would have preferred a lock for added privacy. We could lock the door when leaving during the day. Because our room was on the top floor of the main house, we didn’t have a patio or balcony, and there were no chairs for sitting by the lake like other rooms seemed to have. Would definitely stay here again regardless!
