Hotel Description
Rufflets Hotel offers award-winning gardens free Wi-Fi and a contemporary restaurant. The hotel is just outside St Andrews center a 5-minute drive from St Andrews Old Course. There is also free on-site parking. The bright rooms are individually decorated and each has a modern bathroom with Comfort Zone toiletries. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV iPod dock and tea/coffee facilities with Scottish shortbread. Rufflets Restaurant is located within the main house overlooking the garden and offers lunch and dinner menus using local produce. Afternoon teas and light lunches are also available featuring fresh produce from the kitchen garden. Just a 5-minute drive from North Beach and East Sand Beach the 4-star Rufflets Hotel is 2 miles from St Andrews Castle. Dogs are welcome in our exterior rooms located in the Gatehouse and Rufflets Lodge. Our Woodland Suites are luxury Shepherd Huts that are located within the grounds of the hotel.

Love this place

Nice property but too expensive

Liked: Beautiful property, with nice decoration and gradens.
Disliked: The price of the room was too high. And the waiting time to get the breakfast was very long.

100000% would return!!

Liked: ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!!! From Barbara who welcomed us… to the amazing bartender’s who kept the kitchen open far later than listed. The room was MAGICAL. Everything was perfect. We did all the recommended activities and loved it!!!
Disliked: Nothing!!

The loveliest and cosiest establishment...

Liked: This is the cosiest, most lovely cottage I’ve ever been into. We stayed at the Goldfinch house and it was a delight: it had all we needed to have a pleasurable stay. The main premise is also wonderful and the breakfast is rich and delicious. We were extremely sad to leave!

The bar experience spiked it...

Liked: Beautiful hotel
Disliked: The evening meal in the bar was extremely small portions and poor value for money. When I complained the waiter was rude and then ignored me.

Lovely location. Creaky floor outside...

Liked: The breakfast was good but the coffee was weak and tasteless.
Disliked: Perhaps there could have been more fresh fruit on display?
