Average hotel with very bad...

Liked: The exterior was really nice.
Disliked: The biggest issue was the staff - in particular a guy named Henrik. He was on reception/ bar duties. The background to this is that we made a mistake with the dates in our booking. We were standing at reception ready to check.in, when we were informed that we mistakenly made the booking for the following week. We respectfully asked if we could change our booking to that evening- as we were actually standing there with our suitcases! We would have happily paid any difference in the price, as it was our mistake. Henrik wasn't willing to help, instead blaming booking.com for the factthat he couldn't do it. I don't think it should have been such a big issue. It turnsoutthathe lied- upon inquiries, booking.com said they would have happily accommodated us. Henrik was extremely arrogant, rude, and generally unwelcoming to our group of 5. He seemed to take a dislike to one of our group who was having difficulty using the self check in system, and Henrik proceeded to show his bad manners to everyone. We returned to the bar later that evening for a nightcap, and his bad manners were still on display for all to see. In my opinion, regardless of what a staff member thinks of any customer, it is not his/her position to be rude and unmannerly. The customer should always be treated with respect. Henrik, shame on you. We will not consider staying here again because of you, in particular, and because of the hotel's unwillingness to change our booking. They also would not refund us for the booking we mistakenly made for the following week, so.we also lost that money, instead it was gained by the hotel for free. We will never stay here again, and will not recommend this hotel to any friends or relatives or anyone else. I would actively discourage any people from booking a stay here. The breakfast was also very bad for the money they charged. We are not usually people who complain, but this has left a very bad taste in our mouths.

Short stay for couple

Liked: Excellent location. We got CAT from airport. We walked into centre along the canal. Nicely decorated. Helpful staff. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good quality. Loved the music references throughout the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend.
Disliked: Having to leave!

A bit pricey but worth...

Liked: Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Safe location and area. Only 10 minutes from the main train station. Room had everything you needed. Couldn’t recommend it more. Great facilities also.
Disliked: A bit expensive
