The front desk was very polite and professional. The restaurant/bar was excellent.
Liked: Great location, right next to the river, and just minutes away from Spokane Arena.
Disliked: Parking was free, but really inconvenient. The layout of the hotel made for a lot of walking just to get to your room and back to the parking lot, or restaurant, or whatever. Our room was clean but one bed had such worn sheets, I ripped a 5 inch hole just by sitting on it, without even pulling back the covers. Coffee machine did not work.

Disliked: Room was FREEZING and was still very cold even after leaving heat running on high from the time we arrived until we returned from concert hours later. The food in the restaurant was barely edible and we could have had a better meal at a fast food restaurant.

We stayed a night here while in town to watch the Luke Bryan show. We'll definitely stay again! There is a walking path along the river behind the hotel that was beautiful and it was a short walk straight to the venue. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Good room for a good price.
Liked: Restaurant food was delicious and the prices weren't as high as other places we've stayed.

Liked: The Ruby River Hotel is a hidden gem. We stayed here during a conference in July when the weather was hot (90's during the day). The hotel AC was excellent and quiet. We got the best night's sleep in the cool dark room with a comfortable mattress and light weight blankets. Additionally, the staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help us in every way - printing paperwork for the conference, giving us an extra blanket and toiletries, and even for lending us a pot of hot water so we could have hot tea in our room. I can't say enough good things. There was also live music at the restaurant near the river. As a side note, we initially were booked at the Centennial but had a terrible experience, so we changed to the Oxford due to the good ratings but they only had one night available, so our last night was at Ruby - and Ruby was the best for a good night's sleep, amazing staff, and positive vibe. Extra kudos to Heavyn at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help us when we were in a crunch trying to print conference paperwork and every printer in town was booked.

Liked: Everything. The property was located along the Spokane River. With the walking trail it was easy to get in our morning elk. The outside section of the restaurant was perfect. The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property.
Disliked: Nothing really.
