Liked: Breakfast was great. Delightful staff. Fantastic location. Would stay here again.
Disliked: No desk or suitable area for resting laptop. Ledge not big enough to work comfortably. No facilities for making tea/coffee in room. Lack of parking.

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect, one can walk to the city center. Also the area where the hotel is located is nice and quite compared to other parts of the city.
Disliked: The Japanese toilet was a nice surprise but the telescopic nozzle in the toilet bowl needs some cleaning.

Disliked: The staff weren’t very helpful. In the evening I had a drink at the bar, one guy was working really hard but the other (who was very unhelpful earlier in the day when I asked him for some help) was just lazy, he burnt pizzas and forgot drink orders. He was more interested in just hanging out and flopping his long hair! It felt like he didn’t particularly want to be there which didn’t help the vibe of the hotel.

Liked: The bed was comfortable, the rain shower had good pressure and the view of the canal was nice.
Disliked: I had asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. We were given a room one door down from the elevator. To get to the elevator you had to go through a heavy door that slammed every time - we heard every entry and exit -from the last person in at night to the first awake. The room was on the lowest floor directly under a dining area so starting at 7 you could hear chairs scraping across the floor. The hotel did say they couldn’t guarantee my quiet room request but it felt like they went out of their way to give us the exact opposite. I wouldn’t stay again.
