Beautiful hotel with amazing view...

Liked: Beautiful hotel with floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful view of Amsterdam. We stayed in one of the Resident Room (largest suites available). Staff was very friendly and helpful in identifying places to go, eat, and visit. Shout-out to Celeste at the reception for her immaculate service! Love the bathroom interior and layout of the room. It was on a corner on the 17th floor so we were able to see views for miles. Very easy trains 5min walk from the hotel to central station. There are 4 trains at this stations so you literally don't have to wait longer than 5mins each time. The check-out was super simple and efficient!
Disliked: Neighborhood is relatively quiet with nothing much to do. No walking distance restaurants and the only option was a small bakery and McDonalds. Room was dusty and didn't look well kept. Stains in the cupboards that looked like mold? Coach and coffee table were dirty and battered. At 300 euro a night, we were hoping the furniture would be better.

Liked: The hotel was modern and slick.
Disliked: There was a complete lack of any human interaction at all. I stayed for 3 nights and didn’t speak to any member of staff at any point. Everything was automated. That might sound cool but it meant that there was no one around to deal with problems or issues (the AC in my room didn’t work - the TV didn’t function properly). It is a good hotel but the lack of human contact means that I left feeling a bit underwhelmed despite the hotel being well equipped and in a good location.
