Worse experience ever

Liked: The ocean being so close to the hotel.
Disliked: We arrived to the hotel I want to say at 11 ish pm and didn’t make it to our room until about midnight when the room was already booked weeks in advance. We had to go to the front desk 3 times. So when I go to check in they gave me a room at the Hilton hotel not the royals palms and I found this out by a lady that was working valet but had come inside and I asked her if we were going the right way because both hotels were connected and she was the one who told me that I needed to go back to the desk because the royal palms room numbers had a letter or something at the end and she think they gave me the wrong room so I went back to the desk which then ended up being the second encounter. So at the front desk the lady reassured me that the Hilton rooms were nicer and that I’d like it so we went to see and upon entering the room it was nothing like we booked. I booked a king room with an ocean view and the room we were given was a two queen bed and no ocean view so then we went back to the front desk for the third time and I asked to speak to a manager because we were restless and our 7 month old was fighting sleep. So the manager was very rude and smart with his responses and saying no I didn’t book an oceanfront room I booked an ocean view room (at the time I said the wrong thing when explaining the situation to him) but regardless he could see what I meant. I even took pictures of the first room the lady gave us a room key to. So then he was trying to say the room had 1 queen bed and 1 king bed but regardless it wasn’t what I booked. He wasn’t compassionate or empathetic at all. So then we finally get a key to a room at the royals palms and it was nothing like that picture on the booking website that drove us to the hotel to begin with. The room was outdated and the comforter was dirty and one of the pillows was also dirty and stained. We’ll never stay at the royals palms or the Hilton that’s connected to it again. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Hidden fees

Liked: Was charged an extra $130 at the resort + $15/day parking fee (hidden fees). Was NOT worth the cost.

Bad

Disliked: I had a issue with my money going into my account a day late due to Juneteenth being a holiday and the banks was closed I had four kids with me and they would not work with me any kind of way to where I could pay them the rest of my stay the day after so we had to check out and leave
