Would stay again.

Liked: It was close to the Snowdonia Mountain Railway
Disliked: Didn’t like that some guests in the next room were noisy late at night.

Great hotel fantastic location

Liked: Great hotel fantastic location for Snowden which we travelled to do . Hotel within walking distance from the start of track . Staff lovely and friendly late deal so fantastic value for money . Extra large bed which was extremely comfortable especially after a 11 mile walk would definately recommend
Disliked: Room was great for a late deal and all facilities in there . Bathroom just needed updating a little re shower and black grime round bath but other than than it was perfect .

Liked: The Royal Victoria hotel is located in a picturesque ideal location in Snowdonia to explore the area. The hotel is well maintained, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Free parking, onsite for hotel guests was very much appreciated. A massive thank you to all the staff for their hard work and professional service - Thank you.

Superb

Liked: I have always wanted to stay here and finally have. It did not disappoint. Location unbeatable. Car parking excellent. Room comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was a delight.
Disliked: My only very minor gripe was that the soap holder in the shower collapsed mid shower.

Love this place

Liked: Very central to everywhere you'd want to go in and around llanberis. Short walk to the start of the Llanberis path up Yr Wydffa, near to Llanberis falls, slate mine paths etc. Stayed in the coach house at the back of the hotel, cleaners every day if wanted. Comes with a Kettle (with complimentary tea and coffee), ironing board and iron, small standing fan, small plug in heater and an umbrella. Only downside about the coach house is you need to be prepared to go up 1-2 flights of stairs depending on where you are. There is also a hill to climb behind the coach house which takes you to Dolbadarn castle on one side and a little memorial to "merlin" the dog on the other side (at this point it is possible to see in the windows of rooms 6 and 12).Breakfast comes included in the price and is a great assortment of food (including gluten free and dairy free options) both hot and cold. There is a drying room available for when you inevitably get completely soaked from the wonderful weather.
Disliked: My stay was too short.

Absolutely extortionate for the quality

Liked: Location good for climbing Snowdon
Disliked: Dated facilities, very warm rooms with no AC/fans/windows open very little, no sound proofing at all so could hear guests all around us, blinds/curtains poor quality so let lots of light in in the morning, not enough towels provided, only shampoo provided (no shower gel or conditoner), breakfast was very busy and had long queues due to the fact the hot buffet is not self-serve

What a lovely hotel.

Liked: The location of the hotel was fantastic for the mountain railway, the town and the surrounding area. The breakfasts were very generous and efficient. Parking was very easy, with plenty available. The bar was nice and the food very good, quick and hot.
Disliked: The beds were a little uncomfortable and with no air-conditioning the rooms they were a bit stuffy. While the breakfasts were fantastic we hoped for more pastries than croissants. Some of the decor was getting tired.
