Good value

Liked: Our room was large and clean. Breakfast was satisfying which made our stay good value for money.
Disliked: No lift so had to carry heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Abysmal but never to be...

Liked: Location, central in Thurso. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: We arrived 1 day late due to storm Floris to discover room not vacuumed. The dead flies on the window sills were an added bonus, as was the carpet beetle on one of the beds, not to mention the cracked window pane, mould on window sill. The route to the room was similar to a maze. The staining in the single use plastic cups in the bathroom indicated that they were obviously pre-owned. The breakfast was awful. Embarrassingly most of the other guests appeared to be foreign visitors, hopefully they don't take this dump away as their lasting memory of our country. Shocking really that such dilapidated tips still exist and are listed on Booking.com

Was ok but a little...

Liked: Perfect location in the town. Room was tidy and seem to be well kept
Disliked: Breakfast was done by 9 we went down at 8:30 they started to clear the coffee before 9 and the quality of food was not the best. The staff were friendly enough but the front of house was complaining about the German guest that was a bit off putting

Wouldn’t stay again

Liked: Location and car park
Disliked: Very noisy as window on street and not double glazed. Didn’t get to sleep until4am on night due to racers in street. Breakfast was appalling. Very little choice and poor quality and they kept running out of stuff.
