Royal Thurso Hotel

Lovely staff.

Liked: Staff were friendly and welcoming
Disliked: Carpet on bedroom floor was dirty. Breakfast was terrible.

Warm and friendly hotel. great...

Liked: Stayed as a B&B customer. Had 1 meal at the hotel which was delicious and great value for money.
Disliked: The maze of rooms! Once you knew the way everything was fine.

Surprisingly good, will recommend to...

Liked: The whole experience was exceptionally good considering the earlier reviews, either they were unfair or the staff have done a tremendous job turning things around. I hope the latter as I don’t like to bad mouth people, but I do like to say well done and thank you when they not only listen but act on it.
Disliked: This isn’t a new build so yes it’s a little dated, but everything is clean and regularly refreshed and the staff are polite welcoming and approachable and helpful if they can be.

Needs a lot of maintenance...

Disliked: Very run down but otherwise clean and reasonably comfortable.

Two- night stay plus bar...

Liked: I was unaware if there were any vegetarian options with regard to sausage/ bacon replacements.
