The grand hotel should be...

Liked: A grand hotel, in a great position. Lovely staff, and a good breakfast.
Disliked: The bathroom was large and very nice but the exhaust fan sounded so very loud.

Liked: Perfect central location...expected a "box" as a solo traveller but had a lovely spacious and comfortable room with everything I needed...will definitely come back and will recommend to friends travelling to Newcastle in the future...thank you

Olly Murs overnight stay

Liked: Excellent location. Helpful staff. Very clean. Comfy beds. Gorgeous breakfast,loads of choice.
Disliked: Shower leaked through onto floor. Sockets in dressing area kept cutting out.

Poor

Disliked: the room was situated over a nightclub. I didn't get to sleep till 3 in the morning, the music was that loud, and we had a 2 and a half hour drive home the next day. When I checked in, they tried to charge me more than stated when booked. When I checked out, I wasn't asked how my stay was. We have a lot of weekend stays away booked through booking.com, but I really wasn't happy with this one

Yearly trip away

Liked: Have stayed here before and it is really central to the utilia arena and the shops. We had an awful nights sleep from the previous night because of the beds but we're moved into another room which was better Great staff and amazing breakfast
Disliked: Nothing
