Beautiful resort with first class...

Liked: Loved the location mins from the airport, the Hotel was a resort, beautiful pool beach and hot tub and exceptional in quality and luxury. Food proportions were Huge, but they offer a mini fridge and the to go option with reheating in the cafe if needed next day so no wastage. Pet friendly resort as well.
Disliked: Our Room Toilet was full of used toilet paper on entering our room after we checked in. Lights in room difficult to locate in main bedroom area. Room was too cold, AC kept defaulting to 68F regardless of setting to 72F

Liked: Exceptional staff!!! Closeness to the beach!
Disliked: Gym had equipment in several stages of disrepair. Some did not work at all! Food prices and the inability to change some of the sides.

Excellent resort with top notch...

Liked: The breakfast was good. The staff was excellent. The room was great especially the bathroom. Loved the beach and pools.
Disliked: Nothing!

Disliked: Food and service needs work. Service was very slow and expensive! Food quality not worth the price.

Good for a long weekend...

Liked: It was very quiet, clean
Disliked: Not much to do, we need to Uber everywhere just to do things! The expense for the hotel was very expensive and the cost to Uber and go else where for entertainment was not what I wanted

Liked: Our stay at the Royal Sonesta was amazing. I love the umbrella service at the beach and the food at the beach restaurant was delicious. Will definitely be returning here!!
Disliked: The breakfast service was very very slow. And I'm very patient with realistic expectations and it was still way too slow.
