Beautiful and clean historic hotel,...

Liked: My family enjoyed breakfast. The hotel was extremely clean. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable and the bath was good. Our dog was made very welcome which is really important to us as he is an emotional support dog and visits to places wouldn't and couldn't happen without him.
Disliked: We understand why the rooms couldn't have been closer as we have a dog. When I called to say we were arriving in an hour, I was advised they weren't expecting a dog, this upset me as accommodating our dog is most important to us. The man who answered the phone could sense the unhappiness in my voice, and then said I didn't need to speak to him the way I did. I had said we had definitely booked the dogs stay. No swearing etc. This was because apparently the man couldn't see it on the screen. Perhaps a trusty book and writing implement by the phone would be more trustworthy than a computer system. Everything was fine on arrival.

Liked: The space for myself my son my mum and my Aunty all to be able to sleep in the same room all in separate beds and rooms
