Disliked: Really is a pub style rather than a real hotel with hotel standard services Cleaning was not fantastic, dust and crumbs foundShower water pressure not fantastic Decoration needs refreshment but again the lack of effort is due to the fact that this is a pub before being a hotel i guess

Adequate for a couple of...

Liked: Nothing was outstanding. Small double room only suitable for single occupancy was booked and was what I got. Room 16.
Disliked: Room 16 is directly above a Chinese take away. Consequently I had cooking smells coming into the room which wasn't pleasant.

Liked: The breakfast. However, the coffee was being rationed by the female member of staff!Also, whilst the breakfast was very tasty, WHY, WHY, WHY, have cheap and nasty tomato and brown sauce to accompany the wonderful breakfast?
Disliked: The leading female member of staff. She came across as being very controlling. The shower had mould growing around the bottom of it! Maybe a little bleach or something similar to remove the mould!Also, in the foyer, it has a sign that says Reception. So I waited at the Reception to check in for the night. The staff at the bar saw me standing there, but I eventually had to go into the bar wading through people at the bar with my suitcase and laptop to check in! Why have a sign that shows you where the Reception is and then have to go into the bar to check in??

Liked: Well situated, massive room and bed.
Disliked: Room was very cold despite having 3 radiators. I suspect the thermostat wasn't set high enough. The decor wasn't quite in keeping with the style of the hotel and the place was looking a bit tired.
