The Spotlight on Royal London Hotel By Saba

Simple Comfort in West London, Close to the Music

Modern and no-frills, Royal London Hotel By Saba is a practical choice for concert-goers looking to stay in the heart of West London. Just a short walk from Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith transport hubs, this clean and budget-conscious hotel puts you near shopping, dining, and live music venues, all without breaking the bank. Rooms range from en-suite to shared-bathroom setups, and all come with tea/coffee facilities, a TV, and complimentary WiFi.

Why Concert-goers love it

Fans heading to gigs at Olympia London or Hammersmith Apollo will love the hotel’s location—just 13 minutes by public transport to the venues. It’s also only an 8-minute walk to Shepherd’s Bush Station, making late-night Underground rides back from central gigs quick and easy. With flexible check-in from 13:00 and a calm residential vibe, this is a great spot to crash after the encore without dealing with downtown crowds.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a low-cost base near local bars and gigs
- Solo travelers heading to see a favorite artist at nearby venues
- Couples planning a chilled-out weekend of shows and shopping
- Fans needing a quiet night after a loud show
- Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend their cash on tickets than hotels

Food and Drink Options

There’s free breakfast included—perfect after a late night out. While there’s no restaurant on-site, you’re just a 10-minute walk from a wide selection of places to eat, from quick bites to sit-down meals. Several spots in the area stay open late, great for post-show refuels.

Nightlife Options

The hotel doesn’t offer its own bar or live music, but you’re within easy reach of the nightlife around Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith. Grab a pint at a local pub or head to one of the area’s trendy cocktail lounges before or after your concert.

What People Say

Guests appreciate the spotless rooms and excellent location for concerts and shopping. Many reviews highlight the hotel’s good value for money and quiet atmosphere despite being close to busy hubs. Staff friendliness and the included breakfast are also commonly praised.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are on the smaller side, and the older building means some spaces feel a little worn. Not all rooms have private bathrooms, so be sure to check when booking if that matters to you. There’s no air conditioning, which might be noticeable in warmer months.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers wanting a clean, affordable place to sleep near West London venues, Royal London Hotel By Saba hits all the right notes.

Perfect and close to the...

Liked: Booked 2 double rooms and got changed to 2 apartments. Very new, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and staff are friendly.
Disliked: Only thing I would say is the shower needs a mat as very slippery.

Disappointing

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The breakfast was very incomplete, the staff was rude and they started to clean the breakfast room while we were still sitting. Our room was freezing!!! The heating was not enough and it was 0 degrees outside.

Good value, basic room but...

Liked: Staff all very friendly, breakfast included which was unnecessary but delightful. Good location. Surprisingly quiet.
Disliked: Typically small London room, a little creaky, very hot (attic room) with no effective way to cool down, and a few cockroaches spotted but on par or better with everywhere we've stayed in London previously.

Overall, good!

Liked: The venue we planned to visit was conveniently located nearby and offered a relatively peaceful atmosphere. Staff were accommodating. We assumed breakfast was available until late, but it was served from 7:30 am to 9 am. However, the staff understood and gave us two yoghurts and jam on toast.
Disliked: Breakfast timings were not communicated to us, so we had to inquire late at night. My friend and I discovered a few hairs in the bathroom sink.

Very good location, but don’t...

Liked: The staff was very kind and the location was very good
Disliked: The bedroom was very small and stuffy. Also the windows let through quite a lot of noise which messed up with our sleeping. The breakfast was stingy.

Poor - 0.5 out of 5

Bad

Disliked: The staff was incredibly rude, the breakfast was disgusting and with no variety of food. Our room was too small and our bathroom was terrible. Our room wasn't located where it should have been and there was no elevator to get to it, so getting to the fourth floor with a suitcase was a nightmare. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
