Liked: The room had a splendid view of the Wye River. It was also very comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite but distracted. Walks from the hotel are worth the footwear

While the location is stunning...

Liked: A beautiful location Very quite. Lovely walks. Lovely river location
Disliked: The bedrooms are a bit basic.

Ideal stopover

Liked: We have stopped here many times and it suits our needs. Friendly staff and fantastic scenery.
Disliked: Dogs! Not their fault but some owners are just disrespectful.

So helpful

Liked: The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the start of our stay. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to leave unexpectedly in the evening and the staff member checking us out was very empathetic and considerate. Thanks to all the staff, we would have loved to have stayed!
