Passable

Liked: Nice location, very close to Waikiki Beach. Dukes Restaurant.
Disliked: Biggest disappointment was a double bed not a queen, after I sat down on the couch and a cockroach ran across my leg I understood why it smelled like bug spray.

Great waikiki location if you...

Liked: VI resorts, in lobby suite 104 is where you check in. Staff was so great, able to get us in an hour early to one of our units. Location was 4-5 blocks off waikiki and location makes walking to most attractions, shopping, restaurants perfect.
Disliked: The rooms were remodeled, they did a decent job just with cheap materials but clean and fairly modern looking. The lanai is narrow and not really comfortable for lounging and old sliding glass door was difficult to slide open/close. There seems to be quite a bit of repairs and construction to building, elevators, water systems etc.

Liked: The location is great, very close to all amenities and the beach. The apartment was functional.
Disliked: The aircon was old and noisy. The place was outdated.On our last day, we found dead cochroaches in the living room and in the hallway outside the apartment.
