In general we are satisfied...

Liked: Location is good, right at the shore, nice sunset view from the pool lounge chairs, partial view of the luau on the property next door. Nice landscaping. The small gift shop is convenient.
Disliked: A little outdated, needs some updating on the building and elevators. Front desk person not very welcoming. Very loud live music from next door at night till 2am. $ 25 per day for ourtside parking is rather expensive.

Amazing pool, location and staff!

Liked: We loved the pool! Sunset by the pool was magical and the pool attendant was friendly. We thought the two free Mai Tai's were a great touch and very appreciated! The grounds were very beautiful and we loved looking at the fish. Our room was very clean and the location to downtown Kona was perfect.
Disliked: We stayed in the lagoon tower and felt like the beds were a bit small to accommodate a family a 4.

Everything you need & so...

Liked: Has to be the best ocean view in Kona! We could see schools of yellow tangs & triggers from our balcony! Fun & delicious bar/restaurant. Best fruit cup at breakfast.
Disliked: It’s an older property, but the staff, the restaurant & the view, more than made up for it.
