Fabulous staff and a great...

Liked: Well located in the centre of Bath, adjacent to the station and 10 mins from the Abbey and baths. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great! The staff were fabulous. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Having a central location meant it was noisy at night and we were woken at by traffic and shouting. Hotel decor old fashioned.

If I come back to...

Liked: I liked how close the hotel was to the train station, I could fall down outside the station and land in the lobby or the hotel. Breakfast came with the room and it was quite tasty, I would've liked more on my plate but I'm greedy with my food.
Disliked: Because the hotel was right near the train station you heard all the noise of taxis and buses going up and down the street. It probably stopped around 11pm but I think I was already asleep by then and it started up again around 6am but I'd been awake for an hour when it began.

Very good

Liked: Location ideal for station and access to city. Staff very personable, welcoming and professional. Good facilities - including tea/coffee + biscuits in te room - and a nice bar area. And an excellent breakfast! Not 'luxury' but comfortable, very clean and more than adequate and ideal for access to the city centre!

Convenient & comfortable stay in...

Liked: Friendly staff, comfortable & historic building, close to the part of Bath we were visiting.
Disliked: Quite a lot of train noise during the night. Also the decor seemed quite tired & we were too warm during the night, we prefer a colder room for sleep.
