Royal Hotel

For the price we paid...

Liked: Breakfast everything was on offer which you expected. The location was central but quiet apart from the seagulls billing and cooing at night and staff at The Royal couldn’t do anything about that. The views from the Hotel were superb.
Disliked: The Entertainment could have been a bit longer and although the furniture was very comfortable just for a drink there wasn’t enough seats to watch the turn.

Liked: Location of hotel was great. Great sea view from our room. Breakfast were great. Hotel is easy to access. Plenty of Parking not too far. In general atmosphere was very majestic. Staff were great, we asked for a room with see view and we received it. Really appreciate this gesture. We would come back here again!
Disliked: Room was really outdated. There were no shampoo or shower gel available. Mattress was rock hard. Pillows are very uncomfortable. We had room with dinner included - not worth it, but available to order additional food in bar for extra money.

Liked: Shower had good pressure. Although the bed was old it was comfortable
Disliked: Room was dusty, cobwebs,stains on walls and carpet. Asked for room to be serviced to be told they would let staff know but couldn't enforce the request. Very poor serves. Whole hotel needs a revamp.

Liked: Great location, pleasant hotel lounge areas. room was clean and spacious.Tasty breakfast with good choice.Enjoyed a free upgrade… thankyou .
Disliked: Parking costs.Pool fees.Outside windows need clean/attention… otherwise nothing negative to mention about the building itself.
