Liked: Nice, comfortable and quiet rooms that are well equipped. Very close to the train station. Really exceptional were staff friendliness and the breakfast!

Liked: Excellent, convenient, genuinely helpful staff, in a quiet location. And a lot of thought has gone into the lobby’s well-presented collection of interesting antique decor.

Stylish hotel close to the...

Liked: The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They gave us lots of guidance , provided free cold drinks., coffee and cake. The lounge area had lots of interesting books about the area.
Disliked: The lift was tiny

Great staff, great breakfast, perfect...

Liked: The room was great! The perfect size for us. The location was good, parking was a bit tricky, but that was to be expected in a city. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were so warm and welcoming, we loved it. It was also centrally located so we could walk around the city and leave the car behind us. It was wonderful.

A couple of major flaws...

Liked: A beautiful conversion of a great old building. Interesting touches with furniture and paintings. Good location and a great bar across the road! Really nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Lack of air con in rooms when it’s 32 degrees is a massive issue. The hotel is on the corner of a busy road with trams starting at 4.30am so impossible to sleep with windows open. Lack of sleep is not ideal on holiday! The wet room/shower set up was a death trap!
