Comfortable, clean, close to public...

Liked: Comfortable rooms, clean, and well-located close to a railway station, tram stop, and buses. The staff were friendly and welcoming too.
Disliked: The wi-fi was very slow

Disliked: No hot water at all so cold shower

Blame the shower water!!!

Liked: Room was tidy. Common area was comfy. Most cups and bowls supplied were clean.
Disliked: Hot showers in both bathrooms weren't always working. Staff helped us call for urgent repairs the next morning but they broke down again on the subsequent morning. I didn't get to take a hot shower on 3 out of 6 opportunities (stayed there for 3 nights, needed 2 showers per day, missed 3 showers in total = 50% of the chances). The rooms weren't really soundproof and I could hear the couple chatting and laughing their socks off in the next room.

Enjoyable once again.

Liked: Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly. Very conveniently located opposite the train station, it’s only a short commute to the CBD. The tab area is a bonus for me, as I enjoy the races and watching the footy on the other tv is an added extra.If you like to play the pokies there is plenty of them too. It has its own bistro with a good selection of meals. All in all, it’s my go to place to stay in Melbourne ( Essendon).
Disliked: Really I have no dislikes about my stay.
