Stay was pleasant enough but...

Liked: Room was clean and location was good regarding access to seafront and Connaught gardens.
Disliked: Room was not four star standard lacking a/c and any support to ease entry to a rather high bath. Also there was only one electrical point which in this day and age of electrical devices makes recharging very difficult.

Beautiful historic hotel

Liked: Wonderful historic property. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast especially was excellent and freshly cooked.

All much nicer than expected,...

Liked: lovely historic building, beautifully decorated. Swimming pool excellent. Breakfast was very good, GF, room good (please a fan would help!) super location, can see the sea from the hotel. Lots of parking. We had dinner one night 10/10
Disliked: Room was a bit hot- no fan.
