Liked: Location excellent, food very tasty, team friendly and efficient. A fascinating historic building.

Disliked: The shower room was extremely small and the shower itself was very small and the water flow was very low and difficult to adjust The bar had no ice for drinks and the rules of the restaurant for breakfast service were none sensible.

Liked: Beautiful property in great location in Sidmouth. Room was great, beautifully laid out n elegant. The lounges & terrace are stunning. The swimming pool and gym facilities were excellent.

A lovely traditional seaside hotel...

Liked: A lovely traditional seaside hotel with a vintage style and feel. The location was great with onsite parking friendly helpful staff. The food both at breakfast and dinner was very good and a well stocked bar.
Disliked: Sound proofing in the rooms wasn't great you could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. There are a lot of stairs, for us as a middle-aged couple it wasn't a problem but some of the more elderly guest struggled though there is a lift to one floor but we didn't use it.
