Liked: Lovely location, kind staff and welcoming. Dinner was great.
Disliked: Beam close to my head in bedroom when I got out of bed. Quality of breakfast didn’t match the excellent dinner the night before.

Liked: Great staff offered a backup room when our room had a power glitch. Moved us to a better room as they were not fully booked.
Disliked: Healthier food options for dinner and breakfast.

Tired old property/awful food

Liked: Only option in the village. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water for shower/bath. Food was cheap - which may or may not be a good thing depending how you look at it
Disliked: Tired old property, rooms need a major hard refurb. Lack of plug sockets around the room. Food in the restaurant is pre-prepared and processed, then microwave heated. Genuinely awful quality. Chicken pie was pulped chicken, not really identifiable as having been part of an animal. Even vegetables were soft and soggy (overcooked). Suspect driven by standardisation and cost cutting from head office. I feel for the staff having to present this stuff to customers.
