Liked: Location was great. Hotel was clean. Was given drink vouchers from Claude who was a really nice guy.

Disappointed with recent stay

Liked: We have stayed there several times as we like the location.It pains me to write this negative review but personnel issues are bad.
Disliked: However this time there was a contingentcy of terrible front desk people who could not care less about customers. They should all be fired. We had no hot water for several days. The room was not made up a couple of days as requested. They have a surly main bartender who is unhappy with life.

Great location for the best...

Liked: Great location and a nice boutique feel to the place
Disliked: Poor hot water in the shower, cold most days, if you stay get a room at the back of the courtyard, because the music at night is super loud, they only serviced the room every other day

Exceptional

Liked: Absolutely gorgeous. Courtyard was stunning with fantastic live music and dancing at night. Staff were wonderful. Location on steps away from the main restaurants and bars of Frenchman Street was incredible. Will definitely be back.

If you don't mind windows...

Liked: Location is great, which is why I got this hotel and it was pretty clean
Disliked: Room looks like an attic (for almost $200 per night), with 3 tiny windows that cannot be opened (so, no fresh air, which was my biggest issue), which is very different from the photos of the room on the website. The guy at the front desk said that they are fully booked, but if I find another place he will refund me for the nights I did not stay. I hardly slept that night, so, the next morning I went to the front desk to say that I am going to find another place and will check out in a bit, as discussed yesterday night.It was another guy at the front desk, who was pretty rude, said that the guy last night was not supposed to offer me a refund and that he can check me out right now, without giving any refund and then, as I was leaving, since he was getting ruder by the minute he said he can upgrade me for $150, on top of what I was already paying. I was able to sleep the next night and decided I will stay put, since I did not have much choice, apart from paying for two hotels. When I came downstairs, I ran into the same guy, even though I did not go anywhere close to the front desk and he said he can give me upgrade for $90. At that point, I went to the official hotel website to check the price difference between my room and the one with the balcony and discovered it is only $60I went back to the front desk and asked why was he offering me upgrade for $150 and now for $90 when the price difference is $60. His reply, we have repeatedly tried to help and you are not interested. I am not sure how offering to checkout without a refund and then offering to upgrade for $150 and then $90 to the room that according to the hotel site is only $60 more expensive is helping, sounds more like trying to repeatedly rip me offOn the last morning, the box that looked like multi plug outlet, since it only had plug outlet and no other display, woke me up with the sound of alarm at 6:30 amAttached are 3 photos, windows, plug outlet and price difference from hotel site
