Shadow of its former self

Liked: The bed, linen, and room were very good. The electric switches have been updated to a state of the art level that is actually a little daunting but all very easy once you're used to it.
Disliked: The hotel is a sad shadow of its former glory. Outside your room there is nothing, a vacuum of ghostly corridors, a beautiful restaurant that only opens for breakfast and then only continental, and no quests either. I got the idea from the description it would be interesting and atmospheric, but it's just sad. The hotel is priced in a way you expect more than just a good room yet reception closes at 7pm and you have a key to get back in, that's how limited the effort to create any sense of atmosphere is.

Disliked: Hair dryer needs replacing. Safe doesn’t work. A/c and fan not as efficient as they could be.
