Royal Century Hotel at LAX

It is an ok hotel...

Liked: Easy access, nice pool, we liked the bed, very nice people.
Disliked: It looks old and not taken care of when you first come in walls and doors on the outside are dirty.

Disgusting Place and Rude Staff

Liked: It was close to the SoFi Stadium
Disliked: I didn’t like that I was charged twice for the same night. The person at the front desk told me when I made my reservation through the Booking app that they hadn’t received the payment, so I paid with another card directly at the hotel. Later, when I checked my bank statement, I saw that I had been charged twice — once by Booking and once by the hotel.When I went to complain, the person at the front desk was extremely rude. No one has ever treated me in my life the way that woman treated me. I realized what happened when I went back to the hotel to change clothes. The staff had taken all my belongings, put them in a trash bag, and left them at the front desk, claiming I hadn’t paid. Then I paid again and later saw I was charged twice.That person didn’t even want to look at the receipt from the Booking app when I showed it to her. She treated me very disrespectfully and just told me it wasn’t their problem.This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s extremely dirty, it smells awful, the bathroom has mold, and everything is disgusting. I even saw two cockroaches in my room, but since it was already late at night, I just killed them and didn’t complain. Still, it’s the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to.

Liked: The staff was very friendly. Lovely morning staff. She was SO sweet!
Disliked: But...There was mold on the walls, roaches, and I booked a 3 queen bed suite but the room only had 2 full size beds and 1 twin. The mattresses were uncomfortable. It was too expensive for what it was. I felt like I did not get what I paid for. Black mold is dangerous and can make you very sick. Due to how much mold was present i don't believe the rooms are cleaned thoroughly.
