Will book hotel next time...
Liked: Cosy hotel with wonderful atmosphere, liked the historical features which have been maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food.
Disliked: A little bit of DIY here and there needed but did not spoil my stay.

Liked: Lovely location, nicely styled. Super friendly and useful staff. Valentines dinner was delicious, the Chateaubriand was in my dates' words, the best steak she'd ever tasted; and perfectly served. Really though, people make a place and the reception staff made us feel so very welcome. 10/10
Disliked: Piped cheesy music could do with a re-think (Rick Astley?!) but we found it funny too. The Casio-keyboard cover of 'The greatest love'...with an enthusiastic wiggle on the tremolo...just hilarious. Bit of Bowie? Sinatra? Serge Gainsbourg, Brigitte Bardot, Juliette Greco, Charles Aznavour, Robbie Williams, Duke Ellington, Clapton (esp. acoustic), Queen...pop/crooners for piano (if it's well done) :-) and a bit of Chinese/Korean pop thrown in just so people ask ' what the hell is that?' Just a suggestion.

Nice Hotel apart from the...
Liked: Great Breakfast. Great staff. Nicely situated.
Disliked: Expected 2 Twin rooms to be in the main Hotel. Advised they would be out the back in an annex. Paid for an upgrade on 2 rooms, Room had old sash windows (probably listed building) and was cold and drafty and had to pack out window with Tissue paper to stop it continuously chattering throughout the night due to the wind.
