Ideal location very clean staff...

Liked: Staff were amazing and friendly was only 5 mins walk from where I needed to go the next day
Disliked: Not that I didn't like they are doing renovations at the moment some of the rooms are better than others as a result of this but all rooms still very clean and have everything you need will look foward to seeing the completion when I book next year

Generally a good visit and...

Liked: Convenient location for travelling by train and within walking distance of town centre. Clean, basic, comfortable location for an overnight stay. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff were happy to store my case so that I could explore and attend an event unhampered by luggage. Wasn't disturbed by noise even though location is on a fairly busy main road.
Disliked: Annoying automatic bathroom light and noisy fan activated by opening the bathroom door - OK in the daytime but not great for night time trips to the loo (potential to wake a partner and possibly loud enough to disturb the next room occupants too). Small issue but minor repairs needed to bathroom like fixing a loo roll holder and replacing a bathroom shelf.

Convenient simple but comfortable accommodation

Liked: Very convenient location by station & short walk to town centre. Quiet comfy single en-suite room with tea/coffee. Access to shared kitchen area if required. Friendly helpful welcome at reception.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Reasonably handy to train station
Disliked: Toilet flush button needed repair. Shower drain very slow to drain (2 persons having 3 min shower each 1/2 filled trayLight over clothing shelves needed repair.A few coat hooks in main room & additional hooks or rails in bathroom would increase comfort

Basic but clean and comfortable...

Liked: I stay here frequently. Location excellent if you need the railway station; and not far to walk into the centre of town. Rooms are basic but very clean and usually quiet even when overlooking the street. Kitchen areas very useful. If all you want is a clean and comfortable bed for the night, this is ideal.
Disliked: Nothing much. If I need parking, I use the station multistorey. If I need breakfast, I bring my own or walk into town.
