Disliked: Couldn’t use shower in room, completely flooded the surrounding floor when in use. Room I stayed in needs a good lick of paint and refresh. Breakfast not the best as well.

A lovely stay

Liked: Really relaxed, comfortable, attention to detail, excellent food, very good spa.
Disliked: Room wasn't very well maintained: the safe didn't work and the shower was blocked up which meant that when we had a normal shower the bathroom flooded, and on the second day the flood went through to the main bedroom and even soaked the carpet.

Disliked: Subject: Disappointing Stay at the Rohill Grange Hotel & Utopia SpaMy recent experience at the Rohill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa was, regrettably, underwhelming and did not align with the expectations set by the hotel’s marketing and pricing. My partner and I chose this destination for our precious weekly meeting, paying £700 for a two-night stay, which disappointingly did not include breakfast or access to the spa facilities.Upon arrival, our initial impressions were far from positive. The first room we were allocated was in a state of neglect; dust was so thick atop surfaces that it could bear a written message, and the room’s overall cleanliness was deeply unsatisfactory. Amongst other issues, we encountered a disproportionately large desk, a diminutive TV, peeling wallpaper, and unclean blinds. The most concerning aspects were the visible stains and evident grime in the bathroom, suggesting a long period of inattention.The staff, Chloe and Daisy, were commendably responsive and facilitated a move to what was described as an upgraded room. Unfortunately, this room also fell short of expectations, with issues like hair on bed sheets and dust behind picture frames indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Although the second bathroom was an improvement, it couldn’t justify the high cost of the stay nor compensate for the initial discomfort.Dining at the hotel further compounded our disappointment. Witnessing other guests struggle with unstable tables preluded our own experience of a similar nature, which was exacerbated by a staff member's discourteous response to our request for relocation. The situation necessitated a makeshift fix involving a door stop and a serviette to prevent our table from tipping—a solution that seemed amateurish considering the establishment's purported standards.Most of the hotel staff were commendable in their efforts, with one notable exception that detracted significantly from our dining experience.

Disliked: The room wasn’t worth the price, wasn’t clean. Disappointing spending so much on the room and it wasn’t the best. Also spending the money on staying at the hotel and then extra at the spa.
