Scary location!!

Liked: I booked the hotel about 30 min before arriving while traveling. When I arrived at the property, I pulled into the parking lot and immediately pulled out. The location of the hotel is in a very scary and run down part of town. I contacted the hotel and asked for a refund since I had just booked it and I explained that I wouldn’t be staying there. The hotel said that I would need to contact booking.com. Booking says that that I need to contact the property, so I’m out $100 but at least I’m alive to tell about it. DO NOT stay here or even go near the hotel.

Disliked: Really no dislikes It is located a ways from the highway like 10 minutes or so through city streets

Liked: Room was newly remodeled and clean. No real complaints, but would not stay there again.
Disliked: No ice and questionable neighborhood.

Surprisingly good!

Liked: Room was clean, comfortable, the staff was friendly. Parking right in front of the room, easy to get in and out. It was a last minute stop and wasn't sure what to expect, but it was surprisingly good. We only stopped for the night so I can't speak about convenience or location, but we'd definitely stay there again if we were passing through and needed a stop in Amarillo.
