Liked: The location is quite good for the price
Disliked: It was very dirty in general and smelly.In the bathroom the windows were broken and the hot water was not constant. The staff could be more welcoming.

Liked: Location couldn’t really be much better, close to shops, food and bars. Price was reasonable and staff were friendly.
Disliked: Very outdated and looked dirty in a lot of areas. Windows in the bedroom couldn’t be closed properly, which made it cold at night. Walls were thin and we could hear everyone in the dorms, other rooms and corridors at night.

Liked: Stayed in a private room at Rotorua Downtown Backpackers and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a short stay. The location is ideal—right in the heart of town, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions.The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and offering great local tips. A solid choice for budget-friendly accommodation in Rotorua!

Liked: Enjoyed the social interaction of staff and back packers. Everything was laid out eaay, no fuss. Great kitchen utilities and ablution block. Nice music Great atmosphere
Disliked: Vacuuming whilst people were eating and talking. Could vacuum later possibly?
