Beautiful room with stunning view

Liked: We stayed for one night and were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The view was absolutely stunning, and the room was beautifully decorated and the bed so comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had an amazing experience — highly recommended!

Liked: The room facilities were great, although the bathroom door handle was loose. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds were beautiful
Disliked: We only dined for breakfast but it was not great, we ordered a vegetarian full breakfast and the Cumbrian full breakfast. Scrambled eggs were terrible, portion size was small , the poached eggs were over cooked and the tomatoes were barely grilled. I think the food let's the rest of the hotel down.

Liked: The food was excellent at the hotel. The complimentary drinks were very good too. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would give 5 stars to all of those things.
Disliked: The room was not so good, it was in the loft space and difficult to walk around without hitting your head on the beams, the bathroom needed updating, the shower floor was very poor.
